Attending Chaplins for me was always something I looked forward to. It had that wonderful family feel to it. Always a sense of enjoyment. Chaplins was my childhood and is now my future thanks to my daughter who now attends.

Belinda, now, is one of my dearest friends and I love her and the school to the end of the world and back. I'm so grateful to Belinda and Ronnie for creating such a wonderful and happy place for me to grow up in. x

I started Chaplins Stage School at the young age of four years old in the Broadway Babies class on a Saturday… and I have never looked back!!

I left chaplins at the age of sixteen to go to Italia Conti Academy of
Performing Arts
in London where I have gone on to work on Cruise Ships, MTV music videos (backing dancer), Performer on Cbbc Proms in the Park, Touring with CBBC with Busted and Mystiq, Television Adverts, and as a member of a girl band (touring for
6 months, supporting Lemar etc...) and I honestly can say that Chaplins taught me everything I know and has made me in to the person I am today!

At one point in Italia Conti I had my whole year in my little room where i was staying watching one of my Chaplins videos, “The Stars of Tomorrow" and everyone was glued to the screen as they couldnt believe the talent, passion and drive in all of us!

Belinda and Ronnie gave me so much confidence from being a little girl in to now a women! I couldn't thank Chaplins enough!

I now have a gorgeous little 1 year old called Joshua (Aka jj) who Belinda is God Mother to, and I want him to have the same passion in whatever he may decide to do like Belinda gave me!

Chaplins will keep rocking on and on!

Amazing memories, thank you ;-)

Dane Carter - Actor

Dane has already had a huge on-screen success. In 2004/2005 Dane appeared alongside Steven Fry in Tom Brown's Schooldays, he then appeared in Holby City in addition to a semi regular role in The Bill.

"Chaplins was the platform for my on screen success. It gave me the skills to develop as an actor. The contacts I made through being at Chaplins were invaluable. Above all I made some amazing friends during my time there."

My career began when I was 8 years old I won a singing competition on the local radio to win tickets to see Grease. I went to watch this and realised what I wanted to do so I joined a local stage school (Chaplins) where I trained in all 3 areas of performing. At the age of 15 I appeared in many local pantomimes/ shows in Northamptonshire including Pink Floyd tribute, Wizard of oz and stars of tomorrow.

At the age of 18 I went to Italia Conti where I received a full 3 year scholarship I beat thousands to receive this reward. I did various shows in professional west end theatres including Mother Terrance in Nunsence and Bloody Mary in South Pacific. I am currently working as an entertainment manager for Thomson Gold, Yaramar hotel in Costa del Sol. My next aim is to be a lead cabaret performer on cruise ships.
I would like to thank my family and Belinda for all there support. I wouldn’t be where I am today without them. Thanks for believing in me when I didn’t.

Elaine Coles - Singer/Dancer/Actress/Presenter

I attended Chaplins from the age of eight until eighteen. My first class was an open Tap class with Ronnie and still remember 'A your Adorable'! After one class I was hooked and wanted to learn more and soon began Jazz, Ballet and Modern. I enjoyed all the opportunites that were on offer and even tried my hand at singing – very rarely repeated these days!

My real focus however lie with Acting and I had private drama lessons also whilst attending Chaplins. I eventually passed my Advanced Acting LAMDA qualifications before going on to University to complete A BA Hons degree in Modern Drama.

I now work as Assistant Cruise Director for Carnival UK organising Entertainment onboard  their seven P&O Cruises ships. I even teach tap classes onboard, which is sometimes quite an achievement at sea! In addition to this I am currently establishing a career in Broadcasting as a Presenter.

I'd like to thank Ronnie and Belinda for giving me a good understanding of 'Showbusiness' from an early age and ten years of immense fun!
